Ramadan Glad Tidings: Our Imam and Guest, Sheikh Mostafa Sayed Mostafa

God willing, during the blessed month of Ramadan we will be joined by the imam and khateeb Sheikh Mostafa Sayed Mostafa, who has been brought through the Egyptian Embassy at the mosque’s expense.

Sheikh Mostafa Sayed Mostafa:

• Imam and khateeb, and a teacher and Qur’an instructor with the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf and Al-Azhar.

• Member of Egypt’s Syndicate of Qur’an Reciters.

• Holds an ijazah (certification) in the recitation of Hafs ‘an ‘Asim.

• Has led Taraweeh prayers and enlivened the nights of Ramadan in Brazil and Germany several times, as part of the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf’s Ramadan missions.

• Recipient of several honors and awards in Qur’anic recitation and tajwid, by the grace of Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
